My business has evolved… in the last 12 months I have taken my physical one-on-one real estate investment consulting business to an online business. Why have I done this?
Online is the place to do business… it’s the place to advertise and promote… it’s the place to build relationships, rapport and trust. Small businesses everywhere are now starting to see and understand that they have to get their marketing message online. This provides opportunity for YOU.
This means… for you to take advantage of this opportunity is to up-skill or re-skill and this can be done… with some effort and work. It involves learning new skills to be able to put your message online.
Chris and I are partners in our business, Lead Your Lifestyle and we have several businesses that are now online. We have taken advantage of this new opportunity, as we do not want to get 5 years down the track and see the impact of us not taking action.
Too many people do not take action and you hear them years later saying “if only…” I experience that a lot with my one-on-one consulting business. Its a real estate investment business where I show Australians how they can invest in real estate in markets in America. This started in 2008 and has been building progressively over all that time. I still get people come to me and say “have I missed the boat?” “Has the market gone up?” “I bet I’m too late for this opportunity?”
I used to travel around Australia to promote this business. It was exhausting, but it was a great way to connect with people in a room, build trust, relationships and rapport. Generally 1 out of 10 people would move forward to the next level, to buy USA real estate the other 9 out of 10 would not do anything. They all wanted to do something, they all wanted to invest, however, only 1 in 10 would take advantage of the opportunity.
What I am trying to say to you is there is always opportunity around. The biggest opportunity for me was the impact of GFC in 2008-2009. Then having the courage to travel over to do my research, get some education, get some coaching raise some money and go for it.
